Search for a Will is one of the core functions of the SARWT online National Will Register and as part of our community service it is brought to you free of charge courtesy of our sponsors and advertisers.
No, SARWT does not ask for, nor accepts Wills albeit copies or otherwise.
Once the Testator's/Testator's name, surname and matching identity number are provided the date and whereabouts of the Will, as well as the contact details of the Executor will be made available.
Please note that we have expanded our Will Register to incorporate the existence, contact and location details of a person's "Living Will" in the case of a medical emergency.
The SARWT National Will Register is open to the public however it is important to note that the Testator's/Testatrix's surname and matching identity are required before any information will be made available. In an effort to protect our users' privacy we do not have a function that allows browsing of the SARWT Will Register. Random surnames and/or identity numbers will also be of no use.
